I've only known Pepa for a few years, but to me he's a bottomless well of wisdom and experience. We've had plenty of debates about the right gear, food for the trail, how to choose a backpack and why mine is the wrong one – and you always learn something new from Pepa. There are few people I'd set off with on a trip to hell and back, and Pepa is one of them. So if you want to experience something, learn something, have a laugh along the way and overcome trouble with a sailor's composure, Pepa is your man.

I've known Pepa for about twenty years. We've shared plenty of fun and discomfort on trips around Czechia and abroad, and we've learned a lot from each other. His greatest strength is patience – and anyone who knows me knows I need a lot of it. Whether I'm grumbling almost non-stop that we're going uphill, that the smoke from the fire is blowing in my face, that it's too hot or too cold, or explaining to him at three in the morning at minus eight the differences between country and bluegrass 🤷. If you want an adventure with a partner beside you who won't give up, will calmly explain everything and whom you can trust one hundred percent, Pepa is the right choice. So don't wait and get going!

I spent a weekend with Pepa in the Český les (Bohemian Forest). He had everything perfectly planned, told us in advance about the whole route and the right gear for cold and rainy weather, and was ready for just about any complication 😉 It was great to meet new people and discover places that were new to me. Pepa is a pleasant guide and I'd love to head out somewhere with him again.

Ever since I went on a trek with Pepa and the guys, I don't want to spend my holidays any other way than in the mountains with this bunch of great people :). Getting out of the big city into the wild, where you make your morning coffee with a view of big hills, is the absolute TOP for me. It's total freedom and a detox.

I signed up for your expedition because I wanted to find out what it's like when someone else works out the route and organises everything. I had no idea someone could prepare such interesting experiences so perfectly, that I'd feel completely at ease with strangers, learn all sorts of interesting things and not have to sort out a single thing – just enjoy the time spent in nature. And that's exactly how the expedition with you went. It was amazing and mentally enriching; I'm thrilled and really glad I took that „risk“ with you, and I think about this trip often. 👍

The final exam for everything I'd been training for. The longest route I've ever done, the longest day I've ever walked in my life, and a fear of the unknown in a foreign country. But with a man I trusted one hundred percent, who never left me in the l... and who saw me through my absolute lowest point, the feeling that without him I'd have quit and gone home. Near the end of the trek I had a panic and anxiety attack :-) You handled even a magor like me :-) You made my dream come true. I can't write everything, but it was all in there. I came home sorry that it was ending, knowing you'd be busy from then on and that it wouldn't be so easy to meet up. But I still hoped it would happen again someday. And I'm looking forward to it – believe me!
